Advanced Vegan Cuisine is a course focused on improving people's skills to meet health and food allergy objectives, to handle religious or belief dietary requirements, and how to make mainstream vegan dishes that taste amazing.
Free From That #VeganCookingSchool is a niche/specialty school in the art of elaborating vegan dishes. The Advanced Vegan Training curriculum is a training program for using your existing skills in a restaurant, hotel, catering or kitchen environment and taking them to the next level. The series is offered in sixteen (16) four (3) hour sessions over two week period that provides the building blocks of Vegan Cuisine. The course is considered to be the most comprehensive vegan chef training program in the world. This intensive course enables people to be given the tools to take the next step in their journey or career.
Instructors unravel the history that spice routes played in the development of cuisine in the Mediterranean and around the world. Spice instruction will begin with traditional use and evolve to far-reaching locales, including Thai and Indian influences. Extensive focus is on making vegan analogue dishes that are suitable for mainstream consumption including traditional dishes like burgers, cheese, pizza, seafood, and healthier versions of popular dishes from around the world.
During your course you will be sampling and tasting dishes during each course you create.
You will be tested and evaluated on how well you created the dish, how you flavor balanced the dish, and how you mastered the techniques taught for each project.
- Monday- Friday 10H-13H, 30 minute lunch break, 13:30H-16:30H (10 sessions)
- Saturday (optional weekend 3 hour training course
- Sunday (no class)
- Monday-Wednesday 10H-13H, 30 minute lunch break, 13:30H-16:30H (6 sessions)
To receive a Certification of Completion from our academy program that you can use on your CV or to pursue other employment opportunities you must complete the following:
- Attend all courses
- Grade higher than 70% in class projects/assignments
- Grade higher than 70% in theoretical exam
- Comply with code of conduct
- Provide written review of course
It is recommended that you have medium to high level experience working in kitchen or you have attended a culinary college or are a chef/cook at a restaurant.
We provide you an apron to wear at the academy during training. You are required to wear black t-shirt, long black pants, and comfortable closed toe shoes.
We provide you all tools including knives, blenders, forms, dehydrator, etc
