Plant Based Vegan Training is an ONLINE certificate course focused on improving people's skills on replicating classic dishes without using animal products.  It also teaches techniques on how to use flavor and texture to make these dishes acceptable to mainstream audiences looking for plant based cuisine that taste amazing, to develop dishes that meet health and food allergy objectives, and to understand religious or belief dietary requirements. 


We understand that ONLINE students are coming from different time zones and we create an online space that allows you to virtually participate as your schedule permits.

  • Monday- Friday 10 sessions
  • Weekend (no class)
  • Monday-Wednesday 6 sessions
  • You have 16 weeks to finish all 16 sessions


Free From That #VeganCookingSchool is a niche/specialty school in the art of elaborating vegan dishes. The training program is for using your existing skills in a restaurant, hotel, catering or kitchen environment and taking them to the next level. The series is offered in sixteen (16) four (3) hour sessions over two week period that provides the building blocks of Plant Based Vegan Cuisine to replace conventional dishes that use animal based products. 

The foundation of the training is focused on understanding how to create desired flavors using all parts of the plant kingdom. The training evolves to help you understand preparation techniques to reach desired textures and appearance.

Areas covered (changes seasonally) may include how to use spices, nuts, legumes/beans, sea plants, mushrooms and fungi, grains, roots and tubers, cactus, and coconuts. Lessons also include various topics including making fast food, elaborating whole food dishes, creating raw food dishes, designing fancy finger food or tapas, and developing international street food dishes.

Our ONLINE classroom/teaching style is master class demonstration by instructor followed by each student individually making and recreating the same dishes. A small portion of training encourages and demonstrates to students how to elaborate their own dishes based on skills learned during their training.

As an online student you virtually join students that are taking the course in Mallorca, Spain and then you make a selection of recipes at your home. You participate in cooking activities from the comfort of your home and interact with students at our campus sharing your dishes and creations.

  • Interactive one on one conversations with instructors as needed
  • Daily presentations and discussion about each project
  • Your cost for ingredients will range from €100-€200 depending on where you live 


As an online student you will be provided with a shopping list prior to course start. We provide you alternative options if ingredients specified cannot be located. We also provide you with a kit of some specialty spices for you to experience the flavors and smells created in the course. During your course you will be sampling and tasting dishes during each course you create. For online students you will have to share your dishes with family, friends or strangers to get their feedback. 


Upon completion of the course you will be issued a Certificate of Completion.To receive a Certification of Completion from our academy program that you can use on your CV or to pursue other employment opportunities you must complete the following:

  • Finish all ONLINE Projects within 6 weeks of the start of the course
  • Watch all Video Courses online and participate live in at least 2 courses in LIVE online stream


It is recommended that you have medium to high level experience working in kitchen or you have attended a culinary college or are a chef/cook at a restaurant. Classically trained cooks/chefs that have trained at accredited colleges/schools can apply to receive 50% Discount. See Details 


For the online course you will need the following kitchen equipment:  chef and paring knife, blender, oven, cooktop, oven, and thermometer. You will also be required to have a computer and smart phone with internet connectivity and a digital camera or phone with the ability to take videos and photos and post to a private Facebook group. You will need to have a Facebook account.

    Creative progressive thought processes goes into clean cuisine here that the beginner through to the professional will find stimulating....would highly recommend for the more mature age who want to make a great new start with their health whilst enjoying their surrounds!
