Vegan Spain Workshop

Come experience the flavors of Spain... Veganized!!!

Learn the history and culture of Spain and experience how to make dishes that are not vegan such as Madalenas, Ensaimadas, Chorizo, Tortilla de Patata, and Seafood Paella. You will also learn how to present dishes that are normally vegan in Spanish culture in a new way to draw more attention to the ancient culinary tradition in Spain to eat more fruits and vegetables. We also teach how to source seasonal ingredients locally show you how food as such a strong part of Spanish tradition and culture.

Dishes include Paella, Catalan Cream Cake, Magdalenas, Tortilla de Patatas, Stuffed Piquillo Peppers, Sangria, Churros, Tumbet and Vegan Chorizo.

 

Language: The course is taught by native English speaking instructors but staff also speaks Spanish as needed.

    It was a great chance for me to experience the flavors of Spain. From the famous paellas to Mallorquin dishes, this workshop is a must do! If you are ready to practice some Spanish, eating good Spanish food and having a good time learning and cooking, this is your opportunity.

    Had such a wonderful experience in this workshop, not only tasting so many beautiful things, but also meeting more beautiful people that think alike and want to make this world a more happy sustainable place for all of us.. Truly helped me see that cooking could probably be the best way of communicating with anyone... when words seem to fail the art of cooking makes up for all the senses... taste, feeling, visual beauty, smell... Bringing back memories we thought we lost and of course its an easier way of approaching people to try new things... Absolutely FUN...

    I thought this would be a very basic class but I was surprised to learn how you can make dishes replace seafood, chicken, and chorizo by using plant based products. They show how to make traditional Spanish dishes but all Vegan ingredients. Healthy and good for animals too!
