Palma Mallorca Spain- While countries, cities, and companies around the world are closing their borders and doors, promoting “social distancing”, Vegan Gastronomy is doing exactly the opposite - promoting Social Unity - an interactive online way of learning. With the Spanish Government’s “State of Emergency” restricting people gathering and closing schools, Vegan Gastronomy was asked to move even more to online training. The Company is expanding its Social Unity online interactive virtual training to bring people together and proactively support a global demand of how to eat more fruits and vegetables.

“Our online interactive system is a real world system that places you in an interactive learning environment with different cultures from around the world,” commented Stephanie Prather, Founder of Vegan Gastronomy. “We have seen incredible growth in our training since the Covid-19 Virus outbreak and we are happy to see people wanting to incorporate more vegan or plant based foods into daily life to support a healthy diet to combat Covid-19.”

The ONLINE 1 Year Vegan Chef training program is a set of courses that help a person make the transition from beginner to pro. Recently, the academy passed 4000 trained students since its inception in 2013 with recent graduation rates nearing >95%.

“The academy is frequently reviewed as ‘Challenging and Life Changing’ and we are seeing people move to making real world vegan meals that help them meet their personal or professional goals,” commented Jessica McKenzie, General Manager of the Academy. “Students are scared about career options post-virus and our curriculum provides cutting edge options for new business.”

Vegan Gastronomy culinary academy is both a training company and a product company, having developed plant based solutions for leading food companies making the transition from conventional to plant based. Customers include Laduree Macarons of France, Iberostar Hotels of Spain, and hundreds of start-up companies around the world embracing this change in food.

Stephanie Prather, Founder of the Academy says, “We enable people to discover flavors like bleu cheese, unagi eel, Peking duck, French macarons, and traditional Iranian delicious dishes without ever touching an animal - we do it by teaching students how to create amazing flavors and textures but showing students how to do this in an ultra low cost, sustainable way.”
