VEGAN SHEPPARD'S PIE (T3), a contemporary take on the classic dish. We show you how to replace the meat typically used and show you a technique of making the dish plant based.

Shepherd's piecottage pie, or in its French version hachis Parmentier is typically a savoury dish of cooked minced meat topped with mashed potato and baked. The meat used may be either previously cooked or freshly minced. We will show you a technique we teach at our academy of replacing the meat with a plant based variety but still maintain the same texture and flavor.

The two English terms have been used interchangeably since they came into use in the late 18th and the early 19th century, many people argue that the pie should use a different type of meat, but we show a healthier, more sustainable, and lower cost way to make the same thing.

This is a short 30 minute course training you on step by step for making SHEPPARD'S PIE. This course includes a detailed recipe, and a step by step video by a Vegan Gastronomy ONLINE Instructor. This will give you an example on the type of recipes that are taught in our VEGAN CUISINE (L1 Online Course). This recipe does not require any unique or special product or ingredient. The training is a self guided tour and offers making this complicated recipe without meat.
